International comedy star from Comedy Central and NBC
Riot Act is super excited to be hosting one of its long time friends….and super comic Tom Rhodes March 29th thru 31st.
Tom was the very first comic signed by Comedy Central. Since he had his very own show on NBC, aptly titled “Mr. Rhodes”, Tom has gone on to become an international comedy star featuring in comedy festivals from Montreal, to Australia, to France. Tom got a lot of recognition for his one hour special ‘Viva Vietnam’….a comedy travel log to the newly opened country Vietnam and a heartfelt tribute to his father and the other veterans who served. Viva Vietnam was critically acclaimed and the Washington Post ran a feature story on Tom and his father, and how the premier in Washington DC attracted both Vietnamese diplomats and US diplomats laughing in the same room when they were once mortal enemies. Tom will once again be bringing people together in Washington DC…but this time at the new and awesome Riot Act Comedy Theater
